: (1) Foreign Employment Welfare Fund will be used for the following purposes:
(a) To provide skill training to workers going for foreign employment,
(b) to repatriate the worker due to disability or due to section 75, to give compensation and to provide financial support to the worker or his family who has so returned,
(B1) To defend and plead the case of a criminal accused of a serious criminal offense in the case of going abroad for foreign employment,
(b2) To spread awareness about the rights and possible risks of workers who go through foreign employment,
(c) To conduct employment programs for workers who have returned from foreign employment,
(d) In case of death of a worker who has gone abroad for foreign employment, to bring the dead body to Nepal and provide financial support to his family,
(e) To carry out work related to foreign employment promotion,
(f) To perform other tasks as specified.
(2) Other arrangements related to the operation of the Foreign Employment Welfare Fund shall be as prescribed.
